Hi there! Recently I’ve gotten into my dreadful coffee habit, and everyday I go to starbucks and order the same thing:
Tall breve latte three shots of espresso and four raw sugar packets.
Anddd, I noticed my pants getting tighter, which is never a good thing. >_>
I was just wondering how many calories are in this drink?
Ps: breve means half and half.
Triple shot ESPRESSO, not alcohol lol, didn’t mean to put in under beer, wine & spirits :]

Ok, when I’ve been blessed with awareness in the mourning, and make my latte. I start by making the espresso and then steam the milk in a glass. Then I pour the espresso into the steamed milk … I get a beautiful distinct pattern: 1/3 milk (Bottom), 1/3 Espresso (Middle), & 1/3 Foam (Top). It looks real cool; even more distinct when I use raspberry syrup …
But why doesn’t the milk, espresso, and foam instantly mix together when I pour the espresso into the steamed milk?

I tried a latte and it was good, want to know what’s all in it. Also- how do you order it? I like my latte with skim milk, caramel & whip cream, is there a special way to say it? Thanks!

I have to cute cute my caffeine and can’t drink the diet Dr Pepper. What are some other caffeines free drinks that taste good. I just tried A&W diet root beer. Its not bad, but I can’t do that this whole pregnancy lol.
And yes I know I need to drink more milk and water, and I do. I also started drinking vitamin water and Gatorade. I just like to enjoy a soda once a day.

My gf is an avid espresso, cappuccino, latte drinker, but she does not own an espresso machine. I am looking for one for 90 – 180 price range. There are so many online. Since I am pretty much clueless, I am seeking any insight to which one I should choose. So far I am eyeing this Delonghi model: http://www.amazon.com/DeLonghi-EC702-15-Bar-Pump-Espresso-Stainless/dp/B001CNG7RY/ref=wl_it_dp_o?ie=UTF8&coliid=I628ACDJX636B&colid=397AJJTILP813
Any ideas for other models?

I don’t want to add any sugar or syrups…just that good old black coffee flavor with whatever ‘milk’ concoction goes on top. How do I do this, I’m so confused about steamed milk – how do you make that? Is it mixed into the coffee? What beans do I use? I would like to be able to save myself the + & make this treat at home…I just need instructions. Thanks!

Do you think latte (medium brown, specifically David’s bridal) would work for a bridesmaid dress with pale yellow/buttercup & light pink roses for the bouquets?
This is the dress but you have to select the color latte.

These would be the type of yellow flowers:

I’m trying the hazelnut latte and it’s REALLY nasty. It tastes like burnt toast (for lack of a better description), as if the coffee was reheated many times over. My stomach is already starting to feel a little funny. I had such high hopes because their fruit & yogurt parfaits are great and their hamburgers have somewhat improved. Never again will I get any kind of coffee drink from McD’s . . . .29 down the drain for a 12-oz drink … when I can pay 89 cents for a 12-oz at my local convenience store to make my own fancy coffee drink from their wonderful cappucino machine.
