I have a corner vacant lot in a medium sized town, a latte stand has been using it during the days for a year?

without my knowledge, I just learned of it. I still see them using it…now I can shoo them off, but what of the profit they’ve earned by using my site without my permission? Is there anything I can do about that?

You could put up a no tresspassing sign.
I would confront the person and offer to allow them to stay for a small fee.
If you charge too much they will just find somewhere else to go.
But yes, you can order them off of your property.
You can sue them for trespassing. I’d call an attorney immediately. If somebody gets hurt on the property you’re screwed.
no you cant get anything out of them for there profets but you can make them stay off the prop.
Whatever you do, you need to do it in public and in writing. They could complicate things if they decided they now have a right to use or possess your property. Depending on how long they have been using it and whether you knew or not; or whether they can prove you knew or not, you could end up in a court case over whether you still own it at all or if a prescriptive easment has been created.
Google "adverse possession."
Well just fence off the property end of problem.
Get in touch with the vendor. Let them know that they may continue conducting business there for a small fee. Otherwise contact the police regarding the trespass. Have the individual cited everytime you spot them on the property.
Adverse posession wouldn’t apply here, nor would a prescriptive easement. Time requirements aren’t even close.
