Rancilio Silvia Latte Art Diaries: Day 3

Decided to chronicle my embarrassing efforts to create “latte art,” using 2% milk. I cut out everything in between and just left the meat of the process – the pour. If you wanna see how I steam milk, check out my Day 1 and 2 videos. First pour, I think I got a crop circle. But that’s being generous. Second pour, I was almost there, but again, the art just stopped radiating, halfway into the pour. Third pour, the art gets stuck in “quick sand,” again. For the life, I cannot get that “wet paint” texture that’ll just glide and radiate on the surface, like scattered marbles. And yeah, I know the pitcher’s not a gavel. Bear with me, plz k thx. Equipment used, include 16 oz Rattleware pitcher, 20 oz Espro Toroid pitcher, doserless Rocky grinder, 14 oz Bodum latte mug, double shot of Metropolis Redline espresso

I mean besides the milk is there any other added sugar in it? Please someone answer correctly :) 5 stars best answer.
I’m asking this because it tastes sweet even though I order it sugar free

If I have caffeine (say the amount in 3 Pepsi’s) I become utterly euphoric and my body starts to shake, especially my hands. It feels like an adreneline rush that lasts for hours and I have trouble falling asleep even twelve hours afterwards. Not afraid of it just mildy curious as to why it affects me like that. Is there something different about my body that would cause such a reaction?

Then you are a Latte Liberal.

An financially comfortable person who claims to support liberal causes, then acts completely different.
latte liberals disapprove of school vouchers for kids in poorly run urban schools yet take their children to private schools, therefore avoiding the problems of public schools. Protesting the war in Iraq, yet support Tibet freedom from China, which would be even more bloodier

I’ve been told diaretics like caffeine or alcohol cause you to urinate away calories before you can burn them. Say for example you drink an energy drink with 100 calories–does your body take in and proccess all 100 or do you pass some amount of it instead? Basically I’m wondering if when you drink something like an energy drink, are you really taking in as many calories as listed on the can?

Coupon! How many blocks away do I need to go to drop the Libbie off and it not find it’s way back?

What are the negative effects of caffeine?

So i’ve been drinking caffeine since I was in 9th grade.. now i am in 12th grade. I was wondering if caffeine has any negative effects that i should look out for in the future… that i should maybe stop.
Thanks in advance!

Please state the price in Malaysian local currency. Thank you.

Like Starbucks Breakfast Blend (mild) versus Sumatra (bold), do they have the same amount of caffeine, just taste different?
